Introduction Japan World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program:
The Japan/World Bank Joint Graduate Scholarship Program (JJ/WBGSP) is open to men and women in developing countries with relevant professional experience and a history of supporting their own development efforts.
These people are applying for development-related master's degree courses.
Boarding School/Study Plan:
JJWBGSP provides scholarships for 48 participating programs in universities in the United States, Europe, Africa, Oceania, and Japan.
These scholarships cover key development areas such as economic policy management, tax policy, and infrastructure management.
Target group:
- Nationals of developing countries who are members of the World Bank
Scholarship amount/included/duration:
The JJWBGSP scholarship provides tuition, monthly living allowance, round-trip air ticket, health insurance, and travel allowance.
All JJ/WBGSP scholarships cover the duration of postgraduate courses or two years,
Qualification for Japan World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program:
Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Become a national of a member country of the World Bank on the list
- Do not have dual citizenship in any developed country
- Healthy body
- Obtain a bachelor's (or equivalent) degree at least three years before the application deadline;
- After obtaining a bachelor's (or equivalent) degree, have 3 years or more of the latest work experience related to development;
- When submitting the scholarship application, engage in development-related work in a full-time position. Since obtaining a bachelor's degree (or equivalent university degree) and obtaining the position within the past 6 years from the application deadline date, at least 3 years have been engaged in development-related paid work.
- On or before the "Scholarship Application Deadline", unconditionally (except for admission requirements) is accepted as one of at least one JJ/WBGSP participating master's program for the next academic year, which is located outside the applicant's country of citizenship and residence.
- It's time to apply for the scholarship. Before submitting the application, the admission notice must be uploaded.
- Cannot serve as any type of appointed executive director of the World Bank Group or close relatives of the above-mentioned persons by means of descent or adoption, and their alternates and/or employees are defined as "close relatives" like mother, father, sister, same father Half-brother, brother, half-brother, son, daughter, aunt, uncle, closed beta or nephew.
Application instructions:
To be considered for the JJ/WBGSP scholarship, you must first apply and unconditionally accept admission to at least one participating course.
Scholarship applications must be submitted online before May 21, 2021.
In your application, you need to upload an unconditional acceptance letter from the master's degree program you have participated in.
