The Vice President International Scholarship of Macquarie University is awarded to recognize the academic achievements of international students. 

This highly competitive scholarship is based on academic achievement and is awarded to future students. 

It provides partial tuition scholarships for outstanding students to study for an undergraduate or graduate degree at Macquarie University.

Scholarship amount/duration/includes:


The scholarship amount is up to AUD 10,000 and will be used to pay for your tuition. It is non-renewable.


The scholarship does not provide financial support in the form of a living allowance, nor does it provide visa application, overseas student health insurance (OSHC), air tickets, accommodation, conferences, or other expenses related to study.


Qualification for Macquarie Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarships


  • Meet the academic and English requirements for a bachelor or graduate program work degree from Macquarie University.
  • The minimum WAM for graduate application is 65. Or the minimum ATAR requirement for undergraduate application is equal to 85.
  • Starting in 2021, Macquarie University will be awarded a bachelor's degree or a graduate degree in work.

Application is available online must reach out. After completing the course application, you will receive a Macquarie University student number, which is required to submit the online scholarship application form.

Applicants must fill out the online scholarship application form and enter "VCIS" in the "Scholarship Name" field.

It is recommended that you apply at least two to three months before the start of the course to avoid disappointment and give you enough time to organize your student visa.
