The University of Sydney President’s International Scholarship provides vice-chancellor excellent international students with the opportunity to study courses at the University of Sydney.

Scholarship amount/include:

According to the ranking of the selection criteria, four scholarship amounts are provided:


  • One year’s worth of US$40,000 is paid in two equal installments per semester
  • Pay 20,000 USD in one semester
  • Pay 10,000 USD for one semester
  • Pay $5,000 for one semester.


The availability of certain amounts may be limited to designated cohorts. 

Scholarships are only awarded once in the first year of school and will not be renewed in subsequent years.


Qualification for Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarships Australia:

you must:

  • Become an international student
  • A bachelor's degree or a master's degree in coursework that has been applied for but has not yet started. This is a CRICOS-registered award program and is usually offered onshore at the University of Sydney
  • Receive the unconditional admission letter before the relevant deadline.


How to apply for Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarships

No application is required, as all qualified students who receive an unconditional admission notice before the deadline will be automatically considered.
