Introduction:

The Wellcome International Master's Scholarship is a program designed to offer individuals from low- and middle-income countries the opportunity to pursue a master's degree.

Qualification for Wellcome International Fellowships Master’s in Health:

Applicants must meet the following criteria to apply for the Master of Public Health and Tropical Medicine Scholarship:

  • Be a national of a low-income or middle-income country
  • The proposed research should focus on health priorities in low- and middle-income countries/regions
  • Have sponsorship from qualified sponsors in low- and middle-income countries/regions other than Mainland China.

Applicants must also:

  • Hold a clinical or non-clinical undergraduate degree in a related discipline
  • Be in the early stages of their career, with limited research experience (but must show interest or ability in research).

Applications must be submitted through the Wellcome Trust Grant Tracker (WTGT). The deadline for the next round of applications is April 13, and August 24. This is the last round of financing.
