ADB-JSP provides tuition fees for scholars, air tickets to and from Auckland, basic living expenses, health, and medical insurance, and special grants for thesis preparation (for scholars engaged in research).

Below are the recommendation
- Be a national of an ADB borrowing member. For a list of current developing member countries, please visit the ADB-Japan Scholarship Program.
- Has been admitted to an accredited master's degree by an accredited academic institution.
- Possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent and have an excellent academic record.
- At least two years of full-time professional work experience (obtained after a university degree) at the time of application.
- Proficient in spoken and written English in order to be able to continue learning.
- During application, submission applicant must not above 35 years ago. Under special circumstances, the age limit is 45 for plans suitable for senior officials and managers
- Healthy body.
- After completing the course, agree to return to your home country.
Application instructions:
You can only apply for the scholarship after you have been admitted to the above-mentioned qualified postgraduate courses
and obtained an official letter of acceptance from the University of Auckland.
To apply for this scholarship, you need to fill in the Asian Development Bank-Japan Scholarship Application Form,
and submit it to the University of Auckland via POST together with your acceptance letter and other supporting documents.
The application deadline for admissions in 2021 will July 19, 2021.
