HEC scholarship for FATA and Balochistan 2021

The Higher Education Commission HEC Islamabad announced the provision of graduate scholarships for students from Balochistan and Erstwhile FATA. The HEC och Lucchi and FATA scholarships are provided for the MS/MPhil program in local HEC-accredited universities. The scholarship will provide scholarships for all programs and disciplines under the "Provide Higher Education Opportunities for Students from Balochistan and FATA".


You can submit an online application to the HEC website. The printed version will not be accepted. The final date to apply for the HEC ist Luchstein University and FATA scholarship is June 4, 2021. It is recommended that applicants regularly check their email and HEC website for any updates, and need to apply before the deadline in order to get help in any inconvenience.

 

HEC scholarship for FATA and Balochistan Eligibility Criteria

HEC announced the following graduate scholarship standards for Balochistan and FAST students.


  • Applicants must hold a local residence certificate from Balochistan/previous FATA. As of the deadline, 
  • the maximum age limit is 35 years old. 
  • Applicants must complete 16 years of education and obtain at least 60% grades. 
  • Candidates must obtain the necessary academic qualifications on or before the deadline. 
  • Applicants who have already received any HEC/Government scholarship are not eligible to apply.
  • applicants must meet the HEC and university eligibility criteria to enter the MS/MPhil program.

Benefits of HEC scholarship for FATA and Balochistan

  • Tuition and other expenses (including travel expenses) maximum PKR: 60,000 per semester living allowance Rs: 9,000 per month, 
  • book allowance 6,000 Rs per year. 
  • The travel allowance is 5,000 Rs per year. 
  • The initial placement allowance is 10,000 Rs once.

Important note

  • Scholarships will be awarded based on grades and school district/institution quotas.
  •  Candidates will be selected based on proficiency test scores (conducted by HEC) and academic certificates. 
  • Applicants must score at least 50% on the test.
  •  Balochistan and former FATA students are 50:50. 
  • Students who have signed up for the MS/MPhil program can also apply.

How to apply for the HEC graduate scholarship of Balochistan and FATA

Submit the application online through the HEC website. Hardcover books will not be accepted. HK Electric reserves the right to postpone or cancel the scholarship process at any stage without any explanation. The applicant must pay the applicant a 500 rupees (non-refundable) application fee in the HBL account number 1742-79001334-01, and the scanned copy/image should be uploaded online at the time of application.
